This is exactly why violence never leads to real peace—one side refuses to back down, and the cycle just keeps going. If Israel actually wants a lasting ceasefire, they should honor the agreement instead of escalating tensions. Negotiation and diplomacy are the only real paths to stability, not more military occupation.
Israel has every right to control the Philadelphi Corridor to prevent weapons smuggling into Gaza—security has to come first. Hamas has repeatedly broken ceasefires, so why should Israel take risks that could endanger its people?
