I honestly am ok with this position I just don’t think it is the best option because it won’t benefit all locals as much and will instead benefit a few while giving an unfair competitive edge to that particular business against our own local businesses, not too mention leeching off of our tax money for something most of us won’t benefit from, but I can see how it helps economic growth and job growth even with some negative externalities. Finally, we don’t live in a stakeholder capitalistic society companies have fiduciary responsibility and the goal of making profit and out competing competitors, meaning more often than not these promises are never guaranteed.
