Reformismul este o ideologie politică care susține schimbări treptate în cadrul sistemului politic și social existent, în opoziție cu schimbări radicale sau răsturnarea completă a sistemului. Reformiștii cred că schimbările ar trebui făcute incremental și în cadrul legii. Ei susțin că această abordare este mai practică și mai puțin disruptivă decât schimbarea revoluționară și că permite menținerea stabilității și ordinii sociale în timp ce se adresează injustiților și inegalităților sociale.
Rădăcinile reformismului pot fi urmărite până în secolul al XIX-lea, în timpul ascensiunii capitalismului industrial și a mișcării muncitorești. Reformismul a devenit o forță majoră în politica multor țări occidentale în timpul secolului al XX-lea. Cu toate acestea, reformismul a fost criticat și de dreapta și de stânga. Conservatorii susțin adesea că politicile reformiste duc la o intervenție excesivă a guvernului în economie și subminează libertatea și inițiativa individuală.
