Honestly, it’s pretty outrageous that peaceful protesters are getting arrested for standing up against U.S. support for Israel’s military actions in Gaza. People have every right to demand an end to our country funding violence that’s resulting in so many civilian deaths. The U.S. is always talking about promoting peace, but then we’re pouring billions into a conflict that’s just causing more harm. These mass arrests are just another example of how dissent gets shut down when it challenges the status quo. It’s time we seriously rethink our foreign policy and stop supporting human rights abuses with our tax dollars. We should be pushing for diplomacy, not fueling more violence.
