Likud’s Cevap: Teröristler ülkeye girmek için Hayır, biz herhangi bir fırsat ortadan kaldırmak gerekirIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Likud) on Sunday rejected a call to host refugees from Syria and elsewhere, saying that while Israel is "not indifferent to the human tragedy of the refugees," it is not in a position to take them in.
... Netanyahu stressed Israel’s medical care for over 1,000 injured Syrians, as well as efforts to aid African nations and thus stem the flow of migrants. However, he said that Israel’s “lack of demographic and geographic depth” requires controlling its borders against both “illegal migrants and terrorism.”
... Immigrant Absorption Minister Zeev Elkin (Likud) accused Herzog of gambling on Israel’s strategic interests for the sake of “one minute of favor” in international media. He also expressed the fear that the refugee crisis could give Palestinians an opening to bring the so-called right of return, which would allow Palestinians to return to land they occupied before the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948, in “through the back door.”
Transportation Minister Israel Katz (Likud) said it would be a mistake for Israel to get involved in the Syrian civil war by taking in refugees. “We are too close, too involved. We are not a European country,” he said.Source

The Jewish Home’s suriyeli bir mülteci dair politik tavırları
The Jewish Home’s Cevap: Hayır ve Suriye’ye geri tüm mültecileri göndermekJustice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) was the latest member of the Israeli political establishment to point out the folly of admitting large numbers of Syrian refugees into Israel. Although Israel was cognizant of the suffering of the refugees, the country just did not have the geographic and cultural depth to take them in, she explained Sunday.
Even taking in just a few, she told Army Radio in an interview, was a bad idea. “I believe that the calls being made by opposition figures to absorb refugees is irresponsible. You can't just take in a small group,” she said. “As soon as you admit some it will degenerate into tens of thousands, and then hundreds of thousands.”Source
